Craig grew up in Oak Park, IL where he attended St. Giles School, Oak Park River Forest High School and The University of Dayton for his undergraduate studies, graduating in 1996. Upon graduation, Craig went to work in sales for a service based company.
When the conversation came up with Doug about possibly joining the insurance agency, Craig decided to make that change in 1999, and became partners with Doug as co-owners of Peterson & Associates Insurance. Since Doug’s passing in November of 2017, Craig is the sole owner of Peterson & Associates Insurance Agency, Inc.
When not working, Craig enjoys spending time with his wife and four sons, playing golf and doing stuff around the house. He is active in the Western Springs Business Association, a member of the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce, and a former member of the Oak Park River Forest Chamber of Commerce, previously serving on their board of directors. He also volunteers his time coaching his son’s various sports teams, including LaGrange Park Little League, AYSO and formerly the Elmhurst YMCA Ice Hockey House League.
